Q.    Is Cave Babies a series of classes, or a one off?
A.    Cave Babies is a single session. 

 

Q.    I have taken classes with NCT/NHS/Other. Will I learn anything new?

A.    Cave Babies is designed to complement more traditional antenatal classes. It is natural that there will be some crossover, but our class will teach you simple alternative skills, that work with what your baby is biologically programmed to expect.

Q.   Can I attend alone?

A.   Yes absolutely! There are no partnered activities within the Cave Babies class. 

Q.    How long is the class?
A.    The class runs for around 2 hours which includes a tea break and question time.

Q.     Where do you hold classes?

A.     We currently hold classes in person, in Blackwater, Cornwall, where there is plenty of parking at our cozy venue. We have classes online for those who do not live locally or cannot travel, and we are also happy to bring Cave Babies to you (travel fees will apply).

Q.   I am having a planned C section, will this course still be relevant for me?

A.   Absolutely! Cave Babies prepares you for those moments immediately after birth, and beyond. 

​

Q.   I do not wish/I am not able to breastfeed my baby - is this class still relevant for me?

A.   Absolutely! whilst we do cover breastfeeding (unless you have a private class and choose not to) we also cover how to bottle feed your baby - working with their biological expectations to ensure happy, healthy babies.

Q.   I am expecting multiples - is this class still relevant for me?

A.   Yes absolutely! On top of the general Cave Babies session, we add in some multiples specific skills when you attend. 

​

Q.  When are classes held?

A.   Cave Babies classes take place at various times throughout the week depending on group demand and preference. When booking, you can state your preference for weekdays, evenings or weekends, and we will offer suitable sessions to fit. 

​

Q.    What if I can't remember everything?

A.    Cave babies provides helpful tip sheets via email. You also have WhatsApp support for any questions throughout your pregnancy.
